When it’s time to harvest hay, there are two equipment methods to choose from: mower conditioners or non-conditioning disc mowers. Disc mowers were the former standard in harvest equipment for their ability to breeze through the tough conditions with a clean, even cut. However, mower conditioners are now becoming a staple in large-scale hay operations for their ability to both mow and condition the hay in less time.
